Job Description

Join General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada as an Entry Level Government Contracts Administrator. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of contract proposals and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files, both physical and digital, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Support the monitoring of contract performance, compliance with terms and conditions, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., legal, finance, project management) to gather necessary information and facilitate contract processes.
  • Assist in tracking contract milestones, deliverables, and reporting obligations.
  • Conduct research on government contracting regulations (e.g., ITAR, FAR, DFARS, Canadian Public Works and Government Services regulations) to ensure compliance.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, reports, and summaries related to contract status and issues.
  • Support contract close-out procedures and archival processes.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
