Job Description
Hilton South Bend is seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Chauffeur to join our esteemed transportation team. As a Chauffeur, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation services to our guests, executives, and VIPs. This role requires exceptional driving skills, a thorough understanding of local routes, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled guest service with discretion and professionalism. You will represent the Hilton brand, ensuring every journey is comfortable, efficient, and meets our high standards of luxury and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport guests, executives, and VIPs to and from various destinations, including airports, business meetings, and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and impeccable condition of company vehicles, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide a welcoming and courteous experience.
- Manage schedules and routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information.
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff to coordinate transportation needs.
- Handle unforeseen circumstances or special requests with professionalism and flexibility.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving or chauffeur experience.
- Excellent knowledge of South Bend and surrounding areas.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or executive transportation setting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Advanced defensive driving course completion.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
