Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift team. This is an exceptional opportunity for LPNs looking for high hourly rates and a consistent, predictable schedule. As an integral part of our patient care team, you will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients throughout the night. Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record vital signs, observing patients for changes in condition and reporting to the RN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting all care provided and observations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention under RN guidance.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to patient calls and emergencies.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Nevada.
- BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of LPN experience in a hospital or long-term care setting.
- Experience with various patient populations (e.g., medical-surgical, geriatrics).
- ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
