Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Tennis Court Sweeper & Line Painter to join our dynamic maintenance team. This entry-level position is crucial for ensuring our outdoor tennis courts are in pristine condition for our members and guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily sweeping, cleaning, and precise line painting of our courts, contributing directly to the quality and safety of the playing experience. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily sweeping and cleaning of all outdoor tennis courts to remove debris, leaves, and other foreign objects.
- Accurately paint and re-paint tennis court lines using specialized equipment and according to official court dimensions.
- Inspect courts regularly for any damage, wear, or hazards and report findings to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and equipment.
- Assist with minor court repairs and general facility maintenance as needed.
- Operate and maintain sweeping machines, line painters, and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and facility guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff to ensure overall facility excellence.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in line painting.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance or outdoor upkeep role.
- Basic knowledge of tennis court specifications and care.
- Experience operating light maintenance equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
