Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI / CT Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team in Bexley, Greater London. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI and CT scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process.
  • Operate and maintain MRI and CT equipment, performing daily quality control checks and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters for optimal diagnostic results.
  • Administer contrast media as required, following strict safety guidelines and monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the PACS and RIS systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training initiatives.

Required Skills

  • HCPC registration (or eligibility to register) as a Radiographer in the UK or equivalent international qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in MRI and CT imaging.
  • Proficiency in operating various MRI and CT scanners and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging principles.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certification in MRI or CT from a recognized body.
  • Experience with specific vendor equipment (e.g., Siemens, GE, Philips).
  • Experience working in a private healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of UK healthcare regulations and best practices.
