Job Description

Float Valley Markham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Float Tank Attendant with a strong aptitude for technical support to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about wellness, even if you have no prior experience in float therapy – comprehensive training will be provided! As a Float Tank Attendant, you will be the heart of our client experience, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and deeply relaxing float session. Beyond providing exceptional customer service, you will be trained to understand and maintain our advanced floatation systems, performing routine checks and minor technical troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist clients with check-ins and check-outs, handling bookings and payments efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive explanations of the floatation experience, benefits, and pre/post-float guidelines.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize float tanks and rooms after each session, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
  • Monitor float tank systems, including water quality (salinity, temperature) and filtration, performing necessary adjustments.
  • Conduct minor technical support and troubleshooting on floatation equipment, guided by provided training and protocols.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and serene ambiance of the float center.
  • Educate clients on proper float techniques and offer guidance for optimal relaxation.
  • Manage laundry, replenish supplies, and ensure the facility is always tidy and welcoming.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional, empathetic customer service.

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a spa, wellness, hospitality, or customer service environment.

  • First Aid and CPR certification.
