Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Clerk with a strong focus on filing and records management to join our team in Westminster, London. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and accessible documentation for all warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position is critical for supporting our operational efficiency and inventory accuracy through meticulous record-keeping and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and digital records, including shipping manifests, receiving logs, inventory reports, and internal documentation.
- Perform data entry for all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy in our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Maintain an efficient filing system, making documents easily retrievable for audits and daily operations.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies by cross-referencing records.
- Prepare and compile reports related to warehouse activities, stock levels, and document status.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to company policies and industry regulations.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments regarding documentation needs and status.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Support general warehouse administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data entry and record management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of basic inventory control principles.
- Experience with document archiving and retrieval systems.
