Job Description
Join our friendly neighborhood CVS Pharmacy team as a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Aide in the Torrance area. This role is perfect for individuals looking for consistent afternoon shifts, providing essential support to our pharmacy operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience, assisting pharmacists and technicians with non-clinical tasks, and maintaining the organized environment of our pharmacy. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to customer service. No prior pharmacy experience is required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the pharmacy counter with inquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Organize and maintain clean and tidy pharmacy shelves, ensuring products are stocked and easily accessible.
- Process retail transactions at the cash register, accurately handling payments and providing change.
- Answer incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate department or team member.
- Manage inventory, including receiving, unpacking, and storing incoming supplies and medications.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
