Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented AI Learning File Manager to join our innovative team in Ipswich. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of structured data files used for training and evaluating AI models. Your expertise will ensure the integrity, accessibility, and quality of our learning datasets, directly impacting the performance and ethical considerations of our AI systems. This is a hybrid position, offering flexibility while fostering team collaboration in our Ipswich office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust data management strategies specifically tailored for AI model training and evaluation, focusing on structured data.
  • Oversee the acquisition, organization, annotation, and storage of large volumes of structured data files, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Establish and maintain data quality standards, performing regular audits and implementing corrective actions to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with AI researchers, machine learning engineers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and deliver datasets optimized for various AI projects.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies, including data privacy (e.g., GDPR compliance) and security protocols, for all managed data assets.
  • Manage and optimize data storage solutions and retrieval systems to ensure efficient access and version control of AI learning files.
  • Document data lineage, metadata, and usage guidelines for all structured datasets to facilitate reproducibility and transparency.
  • Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline data management workflows and enhance efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data management, particularly with structured datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management principles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python for data manipulation and scripting.
  • Familiarity with the data requirements and pipelines for artificial intelligence and machine learning models.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable data solutions.
