Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist Representative to be the welcoming face of our facility in New Port Richey. This role requires an individual with an impeccable professional appearance and demeanor, capable of providing exceptional administrative support and a positive first impression to all visitors, patients, and staff. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and take accurate messages.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, maintaining organized calendars.
- Process patient registrations, verify insurance information, and handle necessary paperwork.
- Maintain a tidy and professional reception area.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide general information about the hospital and its services.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Capability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent vocational training.
