Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations.
- Manage routes and schedules efficiently to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs as an owner-operator.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum 12 months of verifiable Class A CDL truck driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Basic understanding of truck maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an independent contractor or owner-operator.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Strong business acumen and desire for self-employment.
