Job Description

Join our dedicated team at Windsor Laser & Dermatology Centre as a Dermatology Clinic Aide. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient examinations and procedures.
  • Assist dermatologists and nurses with patient intake, including escorting patients to rooms, taking medical histories, and preparing them for examinations.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and maintain equipment according to established protocols.
  • Manage patient flow, ensuring appointments run on schedule and minimizing wait times.
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure care instructions as directed by medical staff.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, organizing patient charts, and managing inventory of clinic supplies.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the clinic.
  • Answer patient inquiries and provide basic information regarding clinic services.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records.

  • Medical Office Assistant (MOA) certificate or equivalent.
