Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in Plano. This role is perfect for a passionate culinary professional ready to make their mark on a world-class dining establishment. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, menu development, staff management, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and hygiene. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all culinary operations, including multiple outlets, banquets, and in-room dining.
- Develop and implement innovative, seasonal menus that reflect the Four Seasons' commitment to quality and creativity.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
- Control food and labor costs while maintaining excellent culinary standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment within the kitchen.
- Collaborate with F&B management to align culinary offerings with overall business goals.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and supplier relations.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse culinary team.
- Expertise in menu creation, food costing, and inventory management.
- In-depth knowledge of various culinary techniques, international cuisines, and food trends.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal culinary degree or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience in a Michelin-starred or equivalent fine dining establishment.
- International culinary experience is highly valued.
- Proficiency in culinary software and inventory systems.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation (e.g., ServSafe).
