Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Grill Prep Associate to join our culinary team. You will play a crucial role in preparing fresh ingredients, cooking items on the grill, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion various food items for grilling, including vegetables, meats, and poultry, following recipes and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain grill stations, ensuring proper cooking temperatures and food safety guidelines are met.
  • Assist in receiving, stocking, and rotating inventory to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area, including equipment and utensils, throughout the shift.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed to support the overall culinary team.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety principles (training provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment (even non-professional).
  • Current Food Handler's Permit or ability to obtain one upon hire.
