Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Nurse (Spanish/English) to join our dynamic healthcare team in New Port Richey, FL. This high-demand role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while leveraging your language skills to bridge communication gaps and ensure positive patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and their families, ensuring understanding of medical information, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree
  • ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting
  • Certification in a specialty area (e.g., Medical-Surgical, Critical Care)
