Job Description
Swift Transportation is seeking highly motivated CDL-A Team Drivers to join our elite fleet in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle as part of a two-person team across designated routes.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately complete logs, reports, and necessary paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team partner, and support staff.
- Ensure timely and secure delivery of freight.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of company equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading as required, ensuring freight is secured properly.
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and driving history.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and maneuvering freight.
- Flexibility to travel for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with team driving operations.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Proven track record of on-time delivery and safe driving practices.
