Job Description

Kier Group is seeking talented and driven professionals in Engineering, Construction, and Architecture to join our dynamic teams across various projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or assist in the design, planning, and execution phases of construction and engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and presentations for project stakeholders.
  • Utilize CAD software and other industry-standard tools for design and documentation.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in engineering, construction, or architectural project delivery.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, Primavera P6).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and structural principles.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering or architectural discipline.
  • Professional registration (e.g., CEng, ARB, RIBA, PMP).
  • Experience with sustainable design principles and green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED).
  • Familiarity with UK building regulations and planning processes.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or public sector projects.
  • Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows.
