Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Document client care and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Adhere to all BAYADA policies and procedures, ensuring client safety and well-being.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within local neighborhoods.
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide.
- CPR certification.
- Basic understanding of health and safety protocols.
