Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organised individual to join our team as an Inventory Clerk. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a desire to start a career in retail logistics and supply chain. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and store inventory, and contributing to overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate root causes.
  • Receive, unpack, and organise incoming merchandise according to company procedures.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organised inventory storage area.
  • Utilise inventory management software to track stock movements and data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Report damaged or defective items to management.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to lift and move packages as required.
