As a Pharmaceutical Chemist, you will be instrumental in the synthesis, characterization, and analysis of novel pharmaceutical compounds. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis of small molecules for drug discovery and development.
  • Perform purification and characterization of synthesized compounds using techniques such as HPLC, MS, NMR, and IR.
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Analyze and interpret complex analytical data, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
  • Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical challenges in synthetic routes and analytical procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including biologists, pharmacologists, and formulators.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports, presentations, and patent applications.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (cGMP/GLP), and regulatory guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of scientific literature and advancements in pharmaceutical chemistry and analytical techniques.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, IR).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
