As a Pharmaceutical Chemist, you will be instrumental in the synthesis, characterization, and analysis of novel pharmaceutical compounds. This on-site, full-time position offers a unique chance to be an integral part of our research team, driving projects from concept to completion. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in synthetic organic chemistry, analytical techniques, and a passion for scientific discovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute multi-step organic synthesis of small molecules for drug discovery and development.
- Perform purification and characterization of synthesized compounds using techniques such as HPLC, MS, NMR, and IR.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Analyze and interpret complex analytical data, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.
- Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical challenges in synthetic routes and analytical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including biologists, pharmacologists, and formulators.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports, presentations, and patent applications.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards (cGMP/GLP), and regulatory guidelines.
- Stay abreast of scientific literature and advancements in pharmaceutical chemistry and analytical techniques.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and reaction mechanisms.
- Proficiency in a wide range of analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, IR).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
