Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our bottling line team as a Distillery Bottling Line Worker. This is a fast-paced, entry-level position located at our facility in Morpeth, Northumberland. If you are a motivated team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, we want to hear from you! No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided. This role is crucial to ensuring our high-quality spirits are bottled efficiently and to the exacting standards our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor bottling line machinery under supervision.
- Load bottles, caps, labels, and packaging materials onto the production line.
- Inspect bottles for quality defects, proper filling levels, and accurate labeling.
- Pack finished products into boxes and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with line changeovers and basic machine adjustments as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not required, but a plus).
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Experience with operating machinery or equipment.
