Job Description
Are you passionate about helping others and looking to start a rewarding career in healthcare? CHUQ is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants (HCA). This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a vital role in supporting our medical teams and ensuring patients receive the best possible care in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Help patients with transfers and ambulation using appropriate equipment.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing linens.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals with basic patient care tasks.
- Document observations and care provided accurately and timely.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
