Job Description
Are you a night owl with a keen eye for detail? Tesco in Bournemouth is looking for a dedicated Night Shift Shelf Facer to join our team. In this crucial role, you’ll ensure our store aisles are perfectly stocked, tidy, and ready for our customers each morning. Working overnight, you’ll be responsible for replenishing shelves, rotating stock, and maintaining a clean and organised shopping environment. This is a vital role that contributes directly to our store’s success and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately replenish shelves with new stock during night hours.
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and neatly displayed according to planograms.
- Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first, minimising waste.
- Maintain clean and tidy aisles, removing any debris or empty packaging.
- Operate pallet trucks and other equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Assist with deliveries and ensure stock is stored in an organised manner.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Work independently and as part of a small night team to meet deadlines.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move stock.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Experience with stock rotation and merchandising.
- Forklift or pallet truck operating experience (training can be provided).
