Job Description

Join Oxfam as a Street Fundraiser and become a vital part of our mission to fight poverty and injustice worldwide. You will be engaging directly with the public in Winchester, inspiring them to become regular supporters of Oxfam through direct debit donations. This role is perfect for passionate, outgoing individuals who want to make a tangible difference every day. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, so no prior fundraising experience is necessary – just a desire to connect with people and advocate for a crucial cause.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage enthusiastically with members of the public in designated areas.
  • Clearly and passionately communicate Oxfam's mission and ongoing projects.
  • Inspire individuals to commit to regular financial donations via direct debit.
  • Achieve daily and weekly fundraising targets.
  • Maintain a professional, ethical, and positive representation of Oxfam at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of fellow fundraisers and team leaders.
  • Participate in regular training and coaching sessions to enhance skills.
