Job Description
Are you a passionate gamer with exceptional written communication skills? Do you enjoy diving deep into game mechanics and providing constructive feedback? Electronic Arts Inc. is seeking a dedicated WFH EA Game Handler to join our remote team. This role is 100% remote and focuses on providing written support to our player community and meticulously testing games for bugs, inconsistencies, and overall player experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring our games deliver the best possible experience, working from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear, concise, and helpful written support to players regarding game issues, features, and inquiries.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and performance issues with detailed steps to reproduce.
- Perform extensive playtesting across various game titles and platforms.
- Offer constructive feedback on game design, user experience, and overall enjoyment.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure player feedback is integrated into game improvements.
- Maintain expert knowledge of EA's current and upcoming game titles.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge bases and FAQs.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication and grammar skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep passion for video games and familiarity with various genres.
- High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues.
- Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer support, game testing, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Experience with multiple gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
