Job Description
Menzies Aviation is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Weekend Aircraft Cleaner. This part-time position involves working night shifts to ensure the cleanliness and pristine condition of various aircraft. You will be responsible for providing a high standard of cabin presentation, contributing to a positive passenger experience and upholding our commitment to operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including cabins, galleys, lavatories, and cockpit areas.
- Vacuuming carpets, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
- Removing trash and replacing seatback contents such as magazines and safety cards.
- Restocking lavatory supplies and galley essentials.
- Adhering to strict safety and security protocols, as well as airline-specific cleaning standards.
- Operating cleaning equipment and using approved cleaning agents safely and efficiently.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistent weekend night shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, and pulling.
- Reliable transportation to and from Akron-Canton Airport.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services, particularly in an aviation or transportation environment.
- Familiarity with various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
