Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pinterest Manager to join our remote team, specifically focusing on supporting Etsy sellers. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact the success of small businesses by enhancing their online presence through strategic Pinterest marketing. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Pinterest strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and sales for our Etsy seller clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the Etsy platform, e-commerce trends, and Pinterest best practices, with a strong emphasis on organic growth and content optimization. As this is a work-from-home position, you will need to be self-sufficient, highly organized, and an excellent communicator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive Pinterest marketing strategies tailored for individual Etsy shops and products.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and trend analysis to optimize pin content and descriptions for discoverability.
- Create compelling visual content (pins, videos, story pins) that aligns with client branding and Pinterest best practices.
- Manage and grow client Pinterest profiles, including board organization, pin scheduling, and community engagement.
- Monitor Pinterest analytics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular performance reports for clients.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve Pinterest performance and achieve client objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Pinterest algorithm changes, features, and e-commerce trends relevant to Etsy sellers.
- Collaborate directly with Etsy sellers to understand their products, target audience, and marketing goals.
- Offer expert advice and training to clients on maximizing their Pinterest presence.
- Maintain high standards of client communication and satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Pinterest Manager or similar digital marketing role, with a strong portfolio.
- Demonstrable expertise in Pinterest SEO, content creation, and analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of the Etsy platform and the unique challenges/opportunities for sellers.
- Excellent understanding of e-commerce principles and online sales funnels.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for pin creation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- Experience working in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media platforms relevant to e-commerce (e.g., Instagram, TikTok).
