Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized Apple Inventory Specialist with a primary focus on back-of-house operations for our Salford retail location. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring efficient product flow, and supporting our sales teams. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and dispatching Apple products and accessories, playing a vital part in our operational success. This position offers the convenience of weekly pay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of Apple products and accessories.
  • Organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and secure back-of-house inventory area.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to accurately track stock movements and data.
  • Prepare products for display, transfers, and customer pickup.
  • Ensure compliance with all Apple operational and security procedures.
  • Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to address inventory needs and challenges.
  • Assist with the proper disposal or recycling of packaging materials.
  • Identify and report any product damage, defects, or shortages immediately.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in inventory management or a similar back-of-house role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate inventory management software and basic computer proficiency.
  • Capable of lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 25kg and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Apple products and ecosystem.
  • Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Prior experience in a retail technology or electronics setting.
