Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Voice Search Annotator to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will play a direct part in enhancing the accuracy and intelligence of Google’s virtual assistants and voice search technologies. You will be responsible for evaluating, transcribing, and annotating audio data, search results, and user queries to provide essential feedback that drives machine learning model improvements. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the specified region while contributing to cutting-edge AI development.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio recordings accurately, identifying nuances in speech and context.
- Evaluate the relevance and quality of search results for specific voice queries.
- Annotate data with linguistic tags, semantic categories, and other metadata.
- Provide constructive feedback on annotation guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify and escalate complex data issues or linguistic ambiguities.
- Maintain high standards of quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere strictly to data privacy and security protocols.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and attention to detail.
- Native-level fluency in English (US English), both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and internet research.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in data annotation, transcription, or linguistic analysis.

- Experience with various annotation tools or content management systems.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
