Job Description
As an Apple Creative, you are an inspiring mentor and an expert in photography and video. You connect customers to their passions by teaching them how to get the most out of their Apple devices. You guide engaging, hands-on sessions, helping individuals and groups unlock their creative potential in photo and video editing, storytelling, and content creation. You have a deep understanding of Apple products and software, coupled with an enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and empowering others.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate group and one-on-one learning sessions for customers on various photography and video topics using Apple products.
- Demonstrate features and functionalities of Apple hardware and software relevant to photo and video creation and editing.
- Provide personalized guidance and troubleshooting to help customers achieve their creative goals.
- Stay current with Apple product updates, software enhancements, and industry trends in photography and video.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, encouraging creativity and learning.
- Assist with merchandising and maintaining the visual appeal of the store.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in photography and videography techniques and principles.
- Expertise in Apple photo and video editing software (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Clips, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and empowering others to learn new skills.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in teaching, training, or public speaking roles.
- Portfolio showcasing personal photography and video work.
- Familiarity with third-party creative applications on Apple platforms.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Photography, Film, Digital Media).
