Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous User Experience Scribe with a strong focus on interface testing to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality, usability, and accessibility of our digital products. You will be responsible for meticulously documenting user interactions, identifying UI/UX discrepancies, and contributing to the overall improvement of our user interfaces through structured testing and clear communication. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to world-class entertainment from anywhere within the specified region.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive interface testing plans to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues across various platforms and devices.
- Document detailed findings, including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and screenshots/recordings, using established reporting tools.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, and QA engineers to ensure a shared understanding of interface requirements and issues.
- Maintain and update user interaction flow documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity for all stakeholders.
- Participate in user experience reviews, providing constructive feedback on interface design and functionality.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of test cases for user interfaces, focusing on edge cases and common user scenarios.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing methodologies and documentation standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with UI/UX testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an acute attention to detail.
- Ability to articulate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and browser environments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic understanding of user-centered design principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a QA, UX, or technical writing role with a UI focus.
- Experience with accessibility testing standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Familiarity with project management and bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Communications).
