Key Responsibilities

• Successfully complete H-E-B's sponsored forklift training and achieve certification.
• Operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently post-certification.
• Load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse and storage facilities.
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices or manifests.
• Stack and retrieve goods, ensuring proper storage procedures and inventory rotation.
• Conduct daily pre-operation checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Adhere strictly to all H-E-B safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to overall operational success.

Required Skills

• Willingness and ability to learn quickly and pass a comprehensive forklift certification program.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and comprehension skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in a general labor, warehouse, or production environment.
• Familiarity with inventory practices or warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required.
