Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Nurse to join our 100% remote team. This full-time position is critical for providing virtual triage, comprehensive patient support, and guiding individuals through their healthcare journey. As a Telehealth Nurse, you will leverage advanced technology to assess patient needs, provide expert medical advice, and coordinate care, all from the comfort of your home office. This role demands excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform virtual patient triage and comprehensive health assessments.
- Provide professional nursing advice, education, and support to patients via phone or video.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Educate patients on medication management, disease prevention, and health promotion.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and clinical expertise.
Required Skills
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with computer systems and telehealth platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Demonstrated empathy and patient advocacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous experience in telehealth or a remote nursing role.
- Experience with various electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certifications in specific nursing specialties (e.g., Ambulatory Care, Triage).
