Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Recruiter with a strong Human Resources focus to join our team in Roseville, CA. This is an office-based position crucial for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier nursing talent to meet the growing demands of our healthcare system. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the nursing profession, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strategic approach to recruitment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage the full recruitment lifecycle, build strong relationships, and contribute to Kaiser Permanente’s mission of delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for various nursing positions, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified nursing candidates, utilizing job boards, professional networks, social media, and internal databases.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and ensure alignment with Kaiser Permanente's values and culture.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide recruitment expertise, and develop tailored recruitment plans.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and professional guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in nurse recruitment and human resources.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and other initiatives to promote Kaiser Permanente as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in nurse recruitment, preferably within a large healthcare system.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the nursing profession, different specialties, and healthcare terminology.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or Healthcare Recruitment (e.g., CIR, CSSR).
  • Experience with diversity and inclusion sourcing strategies.
  • Familiarity with Kaiser Permanente's organizational structure and culture.
