  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of audio equipment, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and signal processing gear.
  • Collaborate closely with touring artists, production managers, lighting technicians, and stage crew to achieve seamless show delivery.
  • Manage and maintain audio inventory, ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition, properly cased, and accounted for.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and industry best practices for rigging, electrical, and audio operations.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving on-site, often under tight deadlines and changing conditions.
  • Travel extensively with touring productions, sometimes for weeks at a time, managing logistics related to audio equipment transport and setup.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Live Sound Technician, with a focus on concert or touring productions.
  • Proficiency with major digital audio consoles (e.g., Avid VENUE, DiGiCo, Yamaha CL/QL/PM series) and analog systems.
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, gain structure, and wireless microphone systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex audio issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams and artists.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, as required by tour schedules.
