Job Description
Are you ready to maximize your earnings with consistent overtime opportunities? Amazon is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our warehouse team in Sugar Land, Texas. This role offers the chance to earn over $1,200 per week through a combination of competitive base pay and abundant overtime hours. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment operations, ensuring products are received, stored, picked, and shipped efficiently to meet customer demand. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment, ideal for those who thrive on productivity and enjoy a hands-on approach to work. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive products, scan and sort them into designated locations within the warehouse.
- Safely and efficiently move products using various material handling equipment (training provided).
- Pick customer orders from inventory using handheld scanners or other equipment.
- Pack and label products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Load and unload trucks, assisting with the organization of freight.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including inventory checks and general cleanup.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of English for safety instructions and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar industrial environment is a plus.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
