Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for immediate full-time employment with a premium rate? IGA Extra in Terrebonne is seeking a dedicated Night Replenishment Assistant to join our team. This vital role ensures our shelves are fully stocked, organized, and ready for our customers each morning. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise during night shifts, ensuring product availability and presentation standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and prefers night work.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload merchandise, verifying accuracy against delivery invoices.
- Efficiently replenish shelves, ensuring products are correctly priced and rotated.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor area.
- Operate various equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Assist in managing inventory, including stock counts and identifying discrepancies.
- Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.
- Ensure excellent product presentation and merchandising standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting during an entire shift.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment, particularly in overnight stocking.
- Experience operating a pallet jack or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
