Job Description

AdventHealth is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals for a Part-Time Student Lab Tech position in Wesley Chapel. Key Responsibilities
- Assist lab technologists with specimen receiving, labeling, and processing under direct supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Prepare and sterilize laboratory equipment and glassware for experiments and daily operations.
- Manage laboratory supplies and inventory, notifying senior staff of restocking needs.
- Perform basic data entry and record-keeping tasks accurately.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient lab functioning.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in high school/college program)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
