Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Source Credibility Evaluator to join our AI Content Integrity team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for meticulously evaluating the credibility of various information sources and assessing the integrity and accuracy of AI-generated content. Your work will directly contribute to the trustworthiness and reliability of Google’s AI products, ensuring that users receive high-quality, unbiased, and factually correct information. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards in AI development.
Key Responsibilities
- Critically evaluate diverse information sources (web pages, articles, data sets) for authenticity, authoritativeness, and potential biases.
- Analyze AI-generated content across various platforms and applications to verify factual accuracy, consistency, and adherence to content guidelines.
- Identify and report instances of misinformation, disinformation, or other integrity issues within AI outputs.
- Provide constructive and detailed feedback to improve AI models and content generation processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and policy teams to refine evaluation metrics and integrity protocols.
- Stay informed about current events, emerging trends in AI, and best practices in content evaluation and fact-checking.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a proven capacity to discern credible information.
- Excellent research skills, including proficiency in using search engines and databases to verify facts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to evaluating complex information.
- Solid understanding of basic AI/Machine Learning concepts and their implications for content generation.
- High proficiency in written and spoken English, with clear and concise communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Communications, Library Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- 1+ year of experience in content moderation, fact-checking, research, data annotation, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with Google products and tools, and a general understanding of internet search algorithms.
- Knowledge of ethical AI principles and responsible AI development.
