Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Panel Cleaning Specialist to join our growing team in Omaha. This is a hands-on role involving rooftop work to ensure optimal performance and longevity of our clients’ solar panel systems. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, comfortable working at heights, and committed to delivering exceptional service. This position offers competitive high pay for skilled individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely access and navigate residential and commercial rooftops to clean solar panels.
- Utilize specialized cleaning equipment and techniques to remove dirt, dust, pollen, and other debris from solar panels.
- Inspect solar panels for any damage or potential issues and report findings to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients as needed.
- Document completed work and any observations.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work safely and confidently on rooftops and at various heights.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to cleaning.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent physical stamina and agility.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of solar panel function (training provided).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in solar panel cleaning or a related field (e.g., window cleaning, roof work).
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience operating pressure washers or other specialized cleaning equipment.
- Comfortable using ladders and safety harnesses.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
