Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to start a career in a hands-on, outdoor role? Signs Express (Stoke-on-Trent) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Signage Installer Helper to join our growing team. No prior experience is required – we’re looking for individuals with a great attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to working safely and efficiently. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and wants to be part of creating visible landmarks across our community. You will assist our experienced installers with the preparation, transportation, and installation of various types of signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior installers with the loading and unloading of signage materials and equipment.
- Prepare installation sites, including cleaning surfaces and setting up tools.
- Support the accurate measurement, positioning, and fitting of signs.
- Perform basic manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and securing fixtures.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment on site and in the workshop.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Help with vehicle maintenance checks and ensure vehicles are stocked correctly.
