This 100% remote, part-time position is perfect for someone who lives and breathes digital trends, understands youth culture, and can translate observations into actionable insights. You will be instrumental in helping our content and marketing teams stay ahead of the curve, ensuring our offerings resonate with the next generation of consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor and identify emerging social media trends, platforms, and content formats popular among 14-year-old teens.
- Conduct detailed research on online communities, influencers, and digital behaviors specific to this age group.
- Provide regular reports and insights on trending topics, memes, challenges, and user-generated content relevant to our brands.
- Assist in the analysis of social media performance metrics related to youth engagement.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing strategists to inform new initiatives and campaign ideas.
- Maintain an organized database of trend observations and research findings.
- Offer a "teen-centric" perspective on various digital content and platform developments.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency and active engagement with major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.).
- Deep, intuitive understanding of current youth culture and digital trends.
- Strong analytical and observational skills to identify patterns and emerging phenomena.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with basic reporting and presentation tools (e.g., Google Slides, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
