Job Description
Lancaster Toyota is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Showroom Valet to join our team. This vital role ensures our showroom vehicles are always presented in pristine condition, creating an inviting and professional atmosphere for our customers. You will be responsible for the cleanliness and orderly display of our new and pre-owned inventory, as well as providing support to our sales and service departments. This is a dealership-based position with clean, indoor work, perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all showroom vehicles, including exterior washing, interior detailing, and window cleaning.
- Move vehicles safely and efficiently within the showroom, lot, and service areas as directed.
- Assist the sales team with vehicle preparation for customer viewings and test drives.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly fueled and ready for display or delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle detailing area.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels as needed.
- Adhere to all dealership safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with minor requests and directions when necessary.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
