Job Description
As a Mystery Shopping Associate with Ipsos, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients understand and improve their customer experience. This part-time weekend position involves visiting assigned retail locations, restaurants, or service providers in the Oakland area, conducting specific evaluations of their products, services, and overall customer interaction, and then providing detailed feedback through an online reporting system. Your objective observations and detailed reports will directly impact business decisions and customer satisfaction strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned mystery shopping visits to various establishments on weekends, adhering strictly to given guidelines and scenarios.
- Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including store cleanliness, product availability, staff helpfulness, service speed, and overall ambiance.
- Interact with staff as a regular customer, asking predefined questions or making specific purchases as required.
- Accurately record and remember details of your visit without drawing suspicion.
- Complete and submit detailed, objective, and timely reports online, often including receipts, photos, or other documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignment details and client information.
- Adhere to all company policies and ethical standards for mystery shopping.
- Communicate effectively with project managers regarding assignment status or any issues encountered.
