Job Description
Are you passionate about e-commerce and looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading Canadian retailer? As a Shopify Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and success of our online Shopify store. This entry-level position is perfect for someone detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn, providing direct support to ensure a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with product listings, inventory management, customer inquiries, and order processing, contributing directly to our digital sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing product listings, including uploading new products, updating descriptions, images, and pricing on the Shopify platform.
- Monitor and update inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of products across the online store.
- Process customer orders efficiently, including order fulfillment, shipping label generation, and tracking updates.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email or chat, providing excellent service regarding products, orders, and general store information.
- Perform routine checks of the Shopify store to ensure all links, functionalities, and content are working correctly.
- Support marketing initiatives by assisting with promotional updates and banner changes on the Shopify storefront.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to identify opportunities for store improvement and enhanced user experience.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce principles and online shopping.
- Reliable and organized with good time management.
