Job Description

Join Black & McDonald as an HVAC Installation Laborer and become a vital part of our mechanical services team in Hamilton. You will assist skilled technicians and installers with the setup, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in various commercial and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC technicians and installers with the setup and installation of new HVAC systems.
  • Help with the loading, unloading, and organization of tools, equipment, and materials at job sites.
  • Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, measuring, and preparing components under supervision.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide general labor support to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Learn and apply best practices for HVAC installation and maintenance.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Hamilton area.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in a construction or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications
