Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis under senior guidance.

- Support senior Data Scientists in building and testing statistical models.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.
- Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and learning from discussions.
- Continuously learn new data science tools, techniques, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Familiarity with SQL for querying databases.
- Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for data science and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib/Seaborn).
- Completed online courses or bootcamps in data science or related fields.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure).
