Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shopify Specialist to join our e-commerce team in Summerside. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing our Shopify-powered online store, specifically focusing on our wellness and health product lines. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer journey, implementing new features, maintaining product information, and supporting marketing campaigns to drive online sales and enhance brand presence. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering natural wellness solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Shopify e-commerce platform, including product listings, collections, promotions, and content updates.
- Implement and maintain Shopify themes, apps, and integrations to enhance site functionality and user experience.
- Monitor website performance, analyze user behavior, and identify areas for optimization to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to launch new products, promotions, and campaigns effectively.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all product information, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Perform regular quality assurance checks on the website across various devices and browsers.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify best practices, e-commerce trends, and digital marketing strategies, particularly within the wellness and health industry.
- Provide support for online customer inquiries and technical issues related to the website.
- Generate reports on e-commerce performance, sales trends, and website metrics.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing e-commerce websites.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for front-end customizations.
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and other e-commerce analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional online customer experiences.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and order fulfillment processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems integrated with Shopify.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Previous experience in the wellness, health, or natural products industry.
- Shopify Partner certification or relevant e-commerce certifications.
