Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shopify Specialist with a deep understanding of B2B and wholesale channels to join our growing e-commerce team. This role will be pivotal in optimizing and expanding our Shopify Plus platform for business-to-business sales, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our wholesale clients. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Shopify’s B2B functionalities, wholesale app integrations, custom theme development, and API integrations, driving growth and operational excellence within our B2B ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the Shopify Plus platform specifically for B2B and wholesale operations.
- Implement, configure, and maintain Shopify apps and third-party integrations crucial for B2B functionalities (e.g., customer groups, tiered pricing, bulk ordering, payment gateways).
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to define and implement new B2B features and improvements.
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and Liquid templates to enhance the wholesale customer experience.
- Ensure data integrity and seamless flow between Shopify and other internal systems (ERP, CRM) through API integrations.
- Monitor site performance, analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for conversion rate optimization and improved user experience.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams regarding B2B Shopify functionalities.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in the B2B e-commerce space.
- Manage product catalog and inventory for wholesale channels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Shopify Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on B2B/wholesale.
- Expertise with Shopify Plus platform features, including custom pricing, volume discounts, and customer accounts.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and associated front-end development tools.
- Experience with Shopify API integrations and webhooks.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, SEO, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) for B2B.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Certification in Shopify Partners program.
