Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Gutter Cleaning Assistant to join our dynamic team. This physically demanding role involves working at heights to ensure gutters are free of debris, blockages, and other obstructions. You will be an integral part of our crew, assisting in all aspects of gutter maintenance while strictly adhering to safety protocols. We provide all necessary safety gear and comprehensive training to ensure you can perform your duties confidently and securely. If you have a strong work ethic, are comfortable working on ladders, and enjoy working outdoors, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians in all aspects of gutter cleaning and maintenance.
- Safely set up and climb ladders to access gutters, ensuring proper stabilization.
- Remove leaves, debris, and blockages from gutters and downspouts.
- Inspect gutters for damage or potential issues and report findings to the lead technician.
- Clean up work areas thoroughly after job completion.
- Maintain and organize tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of fall protection and other safety gear.
- Interact professionally with clients, representing the company positively.
Required Skills
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders (training provided for safe practices).
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Commitment to safety protocol adherence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in exterior cleaning, general labour, or construction.
- Comfortable operating power tools or pressure washers.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record.
